Still tired

So I had a GREAT weekend!  Nate was in a Wedding this weekend, so Friday evening after work he and I went to the rehearsal, and then to a local bar for drinks and fajitas with the Wedding party.  Saturday was the Wedding, and it was SO much fun!  I dont get out much and drink these days, so I did enjoy myself.  I was up until about 4am...which never happens anymore, so Sunday I was dragging.  I stil feel like I am dragging, plus I have a cold.  A cold is June is no good.

I give a lot of credit to my mom, who since Addison was basically an infant would read books all day with her, just as she did me.

Happy Father's Day!

Today I spent the afternoon with my Dad.  I picked up Dominoes Pizza, and Cupcakes and we relaxed.  Nothing like a carefree afternoon with the most wonderful Dad a girl could ask for, my mom, brother, sister in law, and daughter :)  Oh, Great Grandma came over too! :)

Spent some time this evening with the father of my daughter.  So lucky to have these two Father's in my life. :)

Not only is he a wonderful father, but an even better Grandpa.   Addison ADORES him. <3

Meet and Greet?

Tonight I am meeting with two young ladies who are interested in watching my Addison a few times a month (basically so my husband and I can have some time together, alone). 

I've never had anyone outside of family (other than her daycare provider) watch her.  Usually my parents or my in laws.  However, I hate asking my parents and in laws, which results in Nate and I not getting really any time together.  I found a handful of girls I am interested in meeting, and tonight I will meet two of them.   I want them to meet us, and for us to meet them.   I have a few questions, but not to many.  I've never done this before, so we will see how it goes, and hopefully we find a good match!  I need some hubby time :)

Monday is back!  I had a really good weekend!  Although last week was a little overwhelming...for a few reasons...

Through joining Visalus I've also meant some really great people.   Last week, one of these great famillies lost their 14 month old girl.   This family is also best friends with a family that I know personally, and who introduced to me this company, and to the products that are helping me with my fitness, and weight loss goals.   I had never met little Eva personally, only her mother.  From the moment I heard about the accident (which was Wednesday morning) it consumed me.   Having a little girl myself, I keep thinking about little Eva, I feel for her parents, for her sisters, for her grandparents, for her aunts and uncles...everyone.... and I just cry.  Friday night I had planned to attend a Bachelorette party, but I just couldnt do it.  I felt I needed to be home with my girl, and staring at pictures of little Eva, I just cried.

Her funeral is tonight.... and I just cannot imagine.

Saturday and Sunday were good.  Saturday was spent at the pool with Addison, and my friend/cousin and her son.  I did get a bit burnt, especially my legs.  Eeek.  Addison got a little burnt under the eyes.  She started using her Puddle Jumper this week, which I found through one of the blogs I read http://www.thesefour.com/

She loves it, doesnt mind wearing it, which is great!!  Saturday night was just a Target run, and a Chipotle dinner outside on the kids picnic table :)

Sunday, I was planning on having another Challenge party, but due to the nice weather a lot of people ended up canceling on me, which worked out fine.  We were able to spend some time with the people who did come, and we BBQ'd, and had some beers and skinny margaritas :)

I also spent a lot of time reading "Fifty shades of Grey" I LOVE this book.  I am almost done with the first one, and ordered the other two yesterday.  I hope to have them delivered soon.  I dont know how long I can wait from finishing this one, and starting the next ;)

Melt a Momma's Heart

Yesterday morning Addie and I were sitting on the couch, waiting for Grandpa to pick her up for the day, so that I could go to work and she said to me. "Mommy, I want a baby sister and you need a baby brother."

Ahh, does that mean Daddy and I need to start trying?? :)
